A: The web site migration service that we are offering is free (to a certain extent). We’ll migrate your site(s) to our state–of–the–art cloud hosting platform without you having to do anything. We know from personal experience that changing web hosting providers can lead to lost info and undesired downtime. That is why we will perform all that for you for free!We’ve got capable administrators whose chief task is to make certain that your site functions exactly as it did on your previous hosting platform. Our administrators are well–versed in migrating custom–made sites, as well as sites that are based on famous web apps such as Joomla^™ and WordPress.

A: While we cannot give you a precise time interval, since there are many variables, among them the size of the files and databases, the location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your site and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll give our best to transfer your website within 48 hours, and in some cases – within 24 hours (in case the content is not large).

A: We don’t gather any sensitive information. We will require, though, the login info for your old web hosting account and the name of the site that you would like to move.

A: Before we can start the migration of your web hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to disclose essentially the same information you have provided to your old web host. We also have an extremely rigid Privacy Policy, which specifies how sensitive information is dealt with.

A: While we move your web site, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your former web hosting provider. After the transfer is done, we will make sure that everything is functioning correctly and that the integrity of your data is not compromised prior to informing you that the transfer is done. After that, we’ll tell you how to move the domain name to your hosting account with us and how to change the DNS resource records.

A: Nah. We’ll never touch base with your hosting provider about anything at all. They won’t be aware of the website migration either.

A: Yup. We support all regular Linux–driven web hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–based web hosting platforms, as we do not offer Windows hosting solutions ourselves.Additionally, we don’t support proprietary website creation and management tools like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
